The Spirit in Glass ....

Flowing, drifting, winding through the flame.  Solid becomes liquid and moves with grace and passion.  Color rich.   Creative meandering blending to solidify as it continues on it's journey.  Creative beauty, one of a kind.  Unique.

Spirit In Glass

Spirit represents an aura - a flowing, living energy that permeates the being and the air and space surrounding it.  Ever present, it guides our experiences and offers it's wisdom in the choices that we make.

Glass is a state of matter.  It has the mechanical rigidity of crystals, but the random disordered arrangement of molecules that characterize liquids.  Glasses are usually formed by melting crystalline materials at very high temperatures.  When the melt cools, the atoms are locked into a random (disordered) state before they can form into a perfect crystal arrangement.

It is with the heat that the spirit surrounds the glass and integrates with it, forming those atoms into the beautiful arrangement that they will become.

The spirit guides the hand and heart of the artist and infuses the artists mind with blessing and creativity, helping to form unique glass works of beauty.

Melting of the Month

These beads were created with intention and love.  They honor women who give their wisdom, love and time to empower other women to step into the next part of their journeys.

Shaped of ivory glass, these beads were then rolled in silver foil, then kissed with transparent color to capture the silver beneath them.    Some of the ivory and silver react to form random lines and nuggests of silver under the transparent color while other spots of silver glisten with joy.
